Sept 24th lightening storm, Marin, Calif.
"B", if you see this, email me so I can email you back, Okay? Talk to you soon.
Thanks everyone for you help in the preparation for the event. Jeff Wagoner, Lee, Jesse, Joann, Jeff K, Jennifer, and of coarse, Mom and Phil, I couldn't have done it without you. I'd also like to thank Laura Arthur (my neighbor that supplied a great pumkin), Jeff Gizdich, Angel Torres, and Jo's nephews Jack and Tony for helping out inside with "crowd control."
With the events surrounding the Sept 11th disaster, turnout was much less than expected. We had alot of "drive ins" and a lot less "trick-or-treaters" indicating less ease in letting the kids out to play. We were able to raise $172 for the Marin Humane Society, much less than what we had expected based on last year, but it could have been worse. With the ideas from this year, next year should do much better.
I posted some inside pictures, now that it's over. So they would come out, I took them during the day, but you'll get the idea.
As you may or may not know, every year I have a large halloween display for everyone to enjoy. If you've seen them in the past, you'll know they are interactive as well. Due to several requests in the past, for the 2001 year, we asked for donations for the Marin Humane Society. Inside the site are pictures of this year and a few from previous years. Thanks to all who contributed and I hope you enjoyed yourselves.
